Fees & charges

As a not-for-profit company, our aim is to keep our fees as low as possible. In many cases, they are well below what other regulatory bodies charge. Registering with us is good value for money!

Application fees
These one-off fees cover your application and first year on the register . They are due as soon as your application enters Stage B . You must pay them before you can be registered, or even if you fail the assessment or withdraw mid-process.

  • First specialty £165
  • Additional specialty £25

If you are already registered when you apply for an additional specialty, you must pay the full standard first specialty fee. Once registered in the additional specialty, the normal annual retention fees will apply.

Annual retention fees

These fees are due every year on the anniversary of your registration in order to renew it. We will send you an invoice about two months before. Your name will be removed from the register if you have not paid your fee three months after your anniversary.

  • First specialty £165
  • Additional specialty £25

The cost of revalidation is covered by the annual retention fees. If your revalidation is successful, we will raise an invoice as normal for the first year of your new registration period.

Restoration fees
If your name has been removed from the register, you must pay a fee in order to restore it. The fees, in addition to any annual retention fees which may be due are:

  • Following non-disciplinary removal £25
  • Following disciplinary removal £160

Other fees

  • Replacement certificate £20
  • Certified copy of a register entry £5
  • Certificate of Good Standing £10
