Sector Assessment Panels
We have grouped all
the specialties on the register into three
Sectors, each overseen by its own Assessment Panel. This is so that
all specialties receive the attention they deserve.
The Sectors cover the broad areas of:
Each Panel typically comprises
the lead
assessors for the specialties within that Sector, with
a few exceptions.
The Panels recommend the specialties in which we
offer registration and then
establish the requirements
for each specialty. Then they help us keep the assessment
procedures under review as we learn from experience.
In addition, the Panels are responsible for appointing, training
and monitoring the performance
of assessors in each
specialty.
We may appoint two further panels after we have explored further
professions whose members do forensic work.
