Board
The Board, which replaced the Governing Council and the
Executive Board with effect of 24 November 2006, lies at the heart
of who we are. It meets three times a year to decide strategy and
priorities, and to set policy on major issues.
The Chairman of the Board is Professor David Croisdale-Appleby, who
is a Professor at the Wolfson Research Institute; the School of
Medicine & Health, University of Durham, and of Corporate
Strategy at Durham Business School.
The Board comprises representatives of:
- the justice system and legal community,
- forensic practitioners and their employers,
- professional regulation and standards bodies,
- the general public (lay members).
Some of the members are nominated by government agencies. We have
appointed some in consultation with professional organisations.
Some members have no direct connection with the forensic world and
were chosen to broaden our perspective. And others have been
elected by our registrants to represent their interests.
The Memorandum & Articles of
Association detail the rules governing the
function, activities and composition of CRFP
The Standing Orders cover Board
business and other administrative matters.
The Board meets three times a year. You can view the agendas and
